If your child is attracted to music and expresses a desire to learn to play a musical instrument, then they're ready to take the next step.  Whether its piano, guitar, drums or violin, there are several options and chances are our family has covered them all!  Growing up with a Farther who taught music for a living enabled us to view music differently than most of our peers and today I’m grateful for my broad knowledge and enjoyment of many types of music.

Learning to play an instrument is a wonderful thing however it’s important to understand that good fundamentals will make or break a music career.  Interestingly enough, many of the proper fundamentals are now found within the many “online courses” being sold online today. Initially I was against the “online course” format of learning until I witnessed the development of my 10 year old daughter on the piano.  It’s amazing what happens when the pressure to learn is removed. It even impressed my “old school” Farther.

Over the next several months, we plan on reviewing some of the more popular “online” courses.  Some are excellent and some aren’t worth the space they take up on your hard drive and we’ll share our unbiased opinion every time.

Warm Regards,

Walter Bennett
